About Me

Hi all! Thanks for stopping by. I'm Mrs. Metz, and this will be my 6th year at Boltz and my 16th year of teaching. I teach Math 8 and I am also a WEB advisor. I am grateful every day I made the move to Boltz, because it is truly the best school ever!

I am dedicated to helping my students find and/or build on their confidence in math. I know math sometimes has a bad reputation, but I truly believe mathematics is just learning how to be a problem solver, and that is something everyone can find valuable! I hope my students find my classroom to be inviting, safe, and a place where they feel comfortable and vulnerable to make mistakes as they learn.
