Hi! My name is Amy Cesar and I am delighted to join the Multi-Categorical IS team at Boltz. This is my 22nd year of teaching in Poudre School District and I am proud to call Fort Collins my home. My husband Zach and I have three children and one fur baby. On the weekends you will find me at the hockey rink, soccer field, or golf course cheering my kids on. I am a very active person who loves to mountain bike, hike, run and swim.
You will most likely find me in general education classes learning alongside and supporting the students on my caseload and in our IS department.
Vision:
The multi categorical program is designed to meet the needs of students who qualify with any disability defined under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Purpose: To develop an educational partnership between home, school and the community that seeks to ensure a quality education for students with disabilities to become productive, contributing members of society.
Goals:
● Serving students based on needs in a collaborative environment.
● Providing students opportunities to pursue meaningful post school outcomes.
● Using research-based instructional strategies to support student achievement.
Students Services:
Services vary based on individual needs of each student identified and are determined through an IEP team meeting with all required members present. Services are specially designed to meet student needs and for student progress, with accelerated growth, in academics, social emotional, behavioral, and functional skills.
