School of Choice Deadline - The School of Choice deadline is Friday, January 17th at noon MST. Acceptances for seats are sent out at the same time for ALL SCHOOLS. PSD expects this to happen no later than the end of the day on Wednesday, January 22nd. All acceptances will be sent via email. School of Choice link

Instrument Demo Night - If you are interested in playing a musical instrument at a 6th grader we will have our instrument demo night from 6pm - 8pm on Tuesday, January 28th. During this event, our instrumental music teachers will be here to tell you about each instrument and allow you to try them out. They will also have details about our summer music classes that help you prepare for the start of school.
Boltz Counselors Visit Elementary Schools - Christy Chappell and Deb Morrison, the counselors at Boltz, will be visiting all elementary school students during the week of February 3 - 7 in order to get registration materials to all incoming students. This is where students will select the elective classes they want to take next year, as well as start to get to know their counselors. Visits are scheduled for:
- O'Dea - February 3rd, 11:30am
- Kruse - February 4th, 10:00am
- Harris - February 6th, 10:00am
- Shepardson - February 6th, 2:00pm
- Linton - February 7th, 9:20am
Registration Question Evening - For those with questions about the registration materials, we will host a Q and A evening on Wednesday, February 13th at 7pm in the Boltz Commons. This will provide you with a chance to meet our counselors and principal to ask specific registration questions you may have. This night is optional.
Spring Visit Day - On Friday, May 8th at 9:30am, all 5th graders in PSD will have a chance to visit their middle school. There will be a bus that takes kids from our 5 feeder elementary schools (Harris, Kruse, Linton, O'Dea, Shepardson), but parents must provide transportation to Boltz from other elementary schools.
6th Grade Check-In - Student check-in for 6th graders, Monday, August 10th from 8am to 12pm in the Boltz Commons. Students will pick up their schedules, get their school pictures taken, get a student ID card, pay student fees, and get their locker assigned. Students will have the opportunity for a self-guided tour and a chance to open their new locker. All 6th graders at Boltz have their own locker (they do not share).
6th Grade Transition Day - All 6th graders will have their own transition day on Friday, August 14th. This is their chance to be in the building by themselves and get to know everything they can before school formally begins for everyone the following week. 8:05am to 2:55pm. Bring a lunch or purchase one in the cafeteria.
First Day of School - Monday, August 17th, 8:05am.
Camp Timberline - September 2020 - 2 days, 1 night, challenge by choice and practice with doing hard things. This is one of our most enjoyed transition events. 8th grade WEB leaders attend to support your students.
