My name is Alex D’arville and I am one of the integrated service teachers in the Autism Bridge Program at Boltz Middle School. This is my 5th year teaching in integrated services in the Poudre School District, and my 8th year working in integrated services in the district. I am originally from Philadelphia and am an avid fan of the Phillies! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in social studies education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania, and later my Master’s Degree in special education from University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!).
Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my wife, playing games on my computer, playing magic the gathering, rock climbing, and painting.
My vision is that every student has what it takes to succeed and achieve their goals and dreams, and it is up to the teachers to help show the students they have what they need to succeed. My goals including showing the students the different paths they can follow to achieve their dreams. I live by Einstein’s philosophy, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think." As an educator I aim to help show the students how to learn, think outside the box, and show them how to take ownership of their future!
