Students in technology classroom

Boltz's Technology Education courses focus on skills required for a twenty first century workforce.

Areas of study include Computer Science Explorations, Explorations and Innovations in Technology and Design, Basic Wood Crafts and Construction. These courses are designed to introduce students to uses of technology while laying groundwork for future coursework and careers in engineering, construction and manufacturing fields.

The core idea driving the department is to teach our students how to think rather than what to think.

Some key technologies students will get to exposed are:

  • Sphero Robotics
  • Prusa 3D Printers
  • TinkerCAD and Onshape
  • Adobe Express Platform
