This is my third year as Principal of Boltz and my sixth year here in the building. I couldn’t be more excited to work with the Boltz community daily, and I am grateful and appreciative to the families and staff who call Boltz their home school.
I am originally from Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and graduated from Metro State University in Denver with an undergrad in English Literature and teaching. I have earned a Masters Degree in Special Education, with a Generalist License and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership with a Principal License and a Special Education Directors License endorsement. I started my education career teaching 4-5 year old students how to ski directly out of high school. I finished school in Denver and moved to Fort Collins in 2004 working as an English Teacher and Special Education Teacher in a Residential Treatment Center. I transitioned to Fort Collins High School in 2009 and continued there as a Special Education (Integrated Services) teacher until 2013. I then moved on to become a Dean of Students at FCHS until moving to Boltz in the fall of 2018.
In my free time my family and I ski / snowboard, hike and camp. My wife and I have one daughter who is in elementary school, two dogs and nine chickens.
Thank you again for choosing Boltz.

I am a proud Phoenix for going on 22 years. I was a Social Studies teacher, coach (football, tennis, golf, wrestling) and spent 7 years as Dean of Students. I am now assistant principal and athletic director. It has been a journey full of amazing experiences and memories. I wouldn’t want to be with any other group than middle school right now. They are amazing.
I grew up in Green River, Wyoming, but have called Colorado my home for the past 20 years. I went to school at Mesa State College, now called Colorado Mesa University. After teaching world geography for 10 years, I got my master's degree from CSU in Educational Leadership. Although I am an administrator, my passion is helping others find their path. No matter if it is students, staff, or parents. I am always here to help.
During my free time, I love to spend time with my family, traveling, going to sporting events, and I miss my lake from back home.

I am so grateful to have worked in many aspects and levels of education for 25 years! I always thought I was doing what I was supposed to be with the level I was with until I found Boltz and middle school students…..now I KNOW!
I am originally from a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Ironwood) and received my bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in Psychology and Social Work. I then went on to the University of Wisconsin-Superior to earn my Master’s and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees in School Psychology. I began my career as a School Psychologist in the central valley of California. While working I went on to San Jose State to get a second Master’s in Educational Administration which led to the opportunity to work as the Special Education Director in California as well.
While in PSD I have worked as a School Psychologist, Counselor, Social Worker, Gifted Site Coordinator, Gifted Identification Specialist and now as the Dean of Students at Boltz.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and watching my kids do what they love. I feel grateful to finally find my place as a Phoenix and couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the Boltz family!

I feel so fortunate to be joining Boltz Middle School and its team of dedicated educators. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in northern Nevada, where I became the first person in my family to graduate high school and go on to college. I earned my undergraduate degree in English Education from Utah Valley University and earned my Master of Science degree in Psychology from Utah State University with licensure in school counseling.
I have served as a school counselor in both middle school and high school settings along the Wasatch Front in Utah, and went on to earn my Administrative/Supervisory concentration from Utah State University while serving as a district MTSS/PBIS coach in a large suburban district in Salt Lake County. Since 2019, I have served as a middle school and high school assistant principal in Utah, and was also honored to serve as a board member for the Utah chapter of the Association for Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS-U). Our family was thrilled when the opportunity arose for us to relocate to Fort Collins and join Poudre School District. I have been in PSD since 2023, having served as an elementary AP and interim AP at Preston Middle.
My husband is a high school educator and we are the proud parents of two children, one attending Fort Lewis College and one attending Fort Collins High School. In our spare time we enjoy leisurely bike rides around town, listening to music, and hiking and camping. I also practice yoga regularly and consider it an important part of my work-life balance.
I am sincerely dedicated to the promise of public education for all students, and I’m so excited to be a part of a community that shares this dedication. I can’t wait to get to know our students and families as they pursue their aspirations. ¡Adelante, Boltz!
