Athletic transportation updates and changes for 24-25:
- One-way transportation to all PSD athletic events.
- Round-trip transportation (if requested) to weekend events if requested. Example: State Cross Country
- Round-trip transportation may be requested with prior approval from the district and building AD. This option should be rare and unique.
Expectations of middle school coach:
- Coach loads team/equipment on the bus.
- Coach speaks to the team prior to departure, and reiterates expectations.
- The coach follows the bus in his/her personal vehicle to the competition site and receives a team from the bus driver.
- The coach speaks with the bus driver and ensures the bus is clean.
- If a team has more than one coach, a minimum of one coach should ride on each bus.
After game protocol:
The visiting coach remains with the team until all athletes have left the competition site.
The coach is permitted to drive a student back to school. To do so, coaches must complete the following "Employee Field Trip Driver Acknowledgement" form.
Communication from school to families will state that district transportation is available TO the event only. No return transportation by the district will be provided. All transportation after the event will be the responsibility of parents/guardians.
As we approach the fall season, we will evaluate pick-up times based on transportation department driver availability.

Boltz Athletics: Where we inspire students to be a great person, a great student and then a great athlete!
The fees for athletics are $140 and must be paid before the first official practice. Fees can be paid online on School Pay, parents need to register their students on the district's Sports Engine site, and students also must have a current physical on file at school before they will be allowed to participate.
Qualifying students may apply to have their sports fee waived. In order for fees to be waived students must be approved to receive free or reduced lunch. Apply online for this program on the Free and Reduced Lunch Web Page. Once the form is submitted and your student is approved, parents must complete the permission to share the form online via ParentVue. Once these steps have been completed their athletic fee will be waived.
