About Me

Welcome to Boltz!

This is my second year teaching in the center-based autism program at Boltz and it's exactly where I feel I'm supposed to be! Prior to becoming a licensed teacher, I worked for 5 years as a paraprofessional in center-based autism classrooms at the elementary level. I grew up in Kansas and earned my undergrad degree in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University. I then completed graduate school at Arizona State University with a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis. I am currently studying for the BCBA exam and finishing up my special education graduate program through UNC.

When I'm not being a workaholic, I enjoy just relaxing at home with my 2 dogs or finding a quiet place in the mountains to hike and let my dogs explore!
