About Me

I am proud to call myself a Boltz Phoenix for over 20 years, and I am the 6th grade counselor this year!  I truly love working with middle school students.. they are the best   I am originally from Overland Park, Kansas and received my bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in English. My education career began in San Clemente, California where I taught English and Drama for three years. I received my teaching certifications through California Sate University, San Marcos. Once my family and I moved to beautiful Fort Collins, I continued my career teaching English, Drama, and Musical Theater at Boltz. Through those years, I found my passion for counseling students as well and received my master's degree in School Counseling and Psychotherapy through Adams Sate College.  In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, reading, hiking, being outdoors, and traveling. I feel blessed to be part of the Boltz family!
