Boltz Updates and Reminders for 11/1/18
Follow-up on Tuesday’s email about threats
Thank you for your calls and emails with questions regarding the email sent Tuesday night that let you know about a threat at Boltz. If you have further questions for suggestions for us they are always welcome. We tried to reinforce the message with our students that need to let an adult know about situations they see as unsafe. No situation is too small to report. If your student doesn’t feel comfortable speaking to an adult at Boltz about a situation, we encourage kids to report it to Safe2Tell. We have a link to Safe2Tell on the Boltz webpage --> Student tab at the top --> link is at the bottom of the student page.
Coffee with the Cop – Donuts with the Dean
Monday, November 12th, 7:30 – 9:00am, Boltz Media Center
A few weeks back we invited our staff and students to spend time getting to know our School Resource Officer (SRO), Officer Jeff Holpuch, and our Dean, Mr. Gabe Vigil, better. We offered free donuts and time for them to talk in order to break down barriers to working with them. Often times their jobs at Boltz are seen as only punitive in nature and nothing can be further from the truth. Please consider taking the time to come in and meet them on Monday, November 12th from 7:30am – 9:00am in our media center.
Project Unify Basketball Game
Please join us for Boltz Annual Project Unify Basketball Game from on Friday November 9th from 6-8 pm in the Boltz Gym!
Book Fair Update
454 Books were purchased during the book fair and are now in the hands of students!!! The school earned over $900.00 in book fair dollars so that books can be purchased for the media center. Thank you to our families for all of your support!!!
