Student vs Staff Basketball Game

The Annual Students vs. Staff Basketball game will be held this Friday, May 11th! Come watch as our teachers try to keep up with the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams. There will be a BBQ on the front lawn at 5:00pm where for $5 you can get a cheeseburger or hotdog, chips, watermelon and a bottle of water. Then at 6:00 the female staff members will try to take down the girls’ basketball teams. At 6:45, the boy's game will tip off. $5 for game entry and concession will be available as well.

All proceeds from the BBQ and games will go directly to the Boltz Athletic Program and Concessions will go to the Costa Rica fundraiser. See you there!!!!

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held on May 30th at 7pm at Fort Collins High School in the Main Gym.  8th Graders will need to be there at 6:30 pm.

This is a special event, similar to a High School graduation ceremony, which we host in the gym at Fort Collins High School. This will be on Wednesday, May 30th at 7pm (students must arrive by 6:30 to line up). At this ceremony we have our 8th graders walk across the stage as their names are read, we honor 8 outstanding 8th graders with our Phoenix Awards, and we celebrate all the accomplishments of this class. To make this evening more special for our 8th graders, this will be the last time they are middle school students – 8th graders will not come to our last half day of school. This is like what happens for high school seniors after their graduation. We hope this makes this final night together even more special.

8TH Grade Parents

Shhhhh, Boltz staff is looking to surprise the 8th Graders at this year’s Promotion Ceremony.  What we’ll need from you is a baby photo of your 8th grader in jpeg format.  If you haven’t already, please email your file to lgreen@psdschools.org as soon as possible.  If you cannot email a file, please bring your photo in to the front office and we can scan your photo and return it to you while you wait.  If you have any questions, please contact our front office at 472-3700.

8th Grade Parents

On Monday the 14th, your student will be given a permission form to take home for you to sign for them to walk to Warren Park on Wednesday, May 30th. They will need to bring $3.00 to cover the cost of pizza and drinks. It is important that students bring a water bottle and sunscreen on that day as well. Please look for this next week and return the signed form with the $3.00 by the 21st so we know how many pizzas to order.  Here’s hoping for good weather!
