About Me

I am a Colorado native who loves all things outdoors- running, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, etc.  I am married to my college sweetheart, Marcus, and we have two children and two dogs.  One of my dogs, Ruby, comes to school with me on Fridays as a therapy dog in my classroom.  This is my sixteenth year teaching middle school- my favorite age group to teach!  I love helping students fall in love with reading and writing every year.
