Boltz Soccer Club
We are pleased to share our love of soccer with middle schoolers, as we both played soccer starting from a very young age. This is the 4th year Boltz Middle School has had a soccer club, starting from just a small group of students and teachers playing informal scrimmages after school, growing into having both boys and girls teams that compete against local schools.
We believe that playing soccer is much more than winning games. It is about forming friendships with teammates, learning to have good sportsmanship, becoming a better athlete, challenging yourself to continuously improve, and getting a good workout. The most important thing is being part of a team.
Boltz soccer is a no cut sport that welcomes players of all experience and skill levels. However, we are a competitive team. All players will play in each game, but playing time will not be equal. Playing time (and starting) is determined by a combination of positive attitude, on-field effort, skill level and willingness to play a certain position (ex. goalkeeper, defender, etc).
There are only two things in your control: your attitude and your effort.
There is no cost to play, however, a physical is required.
Practices are Mon, Wed, Thurs 3:15-4:45. (And Tuesday 3/3). It’s OK if you can’t make every practice if club soccer conflicts.
Season runs March 3-April 22. See calendar on reverse for details.
Bring cleats & shinguards if you have them, otherwise wear sneakers. We have shinguards to borrow, and some sizes of cleats to borrow.
No fees to play
