School of Choice Deadline - The School of Choice deadline is Friday, January 17th at noon MST. Acceptances for seats are sent out at the same time for ALL SCHOOLS. PSD expects this to happen no later than the end of the day on Wednesday, January 22nd. All acceptances will be sent via email. School of Choice link

Instrument Demo Night - If you are interested in playing a musical instrument at a 6th grader we will have our instrument demo night from 6pm - 8pm on Tuesday, January 28th. During this event, our instrumental music teachers will be here to tell you about each instrument and allow you to try them out. They will also have details about our summer music classes that help you prepare for the start of school.

Boltz Counselors Visit Elementary Schools - Christy Chappell and Deb Morrison, the counselors at Boltz, will be visiting all elementary school students during the week of February 3 - 7 in order to get registration materials to all incoming students. This is where students will select the elective classes they want to take next year, as well as start to get to know their counselors. Visits are scheduled for:

  • O'Dea - February 3rd, 11:30am
  • Kruse - February 4th, 10:00am
  • Linton - February 4th, 2:00pm
  • Harris - February 6th, 10:00am
  • Shepardson - February 6th, 2:00pm

Registration Question Evening - For those with questions about the registration materials, we will host a Q and A evening on Thursday, February 13th at 7pm in the Boltz Commons. This will provide you with a chance to meet our counselors and principal to ask specific registration questions you may have. This night is optional.

Spring Visit Day - Originally scheduled on Friday, May 8th at 9:30am. We are currently looking at dates in the summer or an extended check-in day where students can spend time getting comfortable with Boltz. More details to follow. Please check out our 6th grade welcome video --> https://youtu.be/dBJu0ISBjzs

Boltz T-Shirts - Boltz T-shirts will be distributed to elementary schools before the elementary checkout day (May 19th). We are hoping that schools will be able to include them in their checkout for 5th graders. Shirt sizes were entered on our course selection sheets this spring - if students didn't mark down a size they will not have a shirt until the fall.

Supply Lists - Supply lists for 6th graders can be found on our website --> https://bol.psdschools.org/News/2020-05-06

6th Grade Check-In - Student check-in for 6th graders, Tuesday, August 11th from 8am to 12pm in the Boltz Commons. Students will get their school pictures taken, check out a laptop, and pick up their schedule.

Makeup Check-in - If you missed getting your laptop at check-in you will need to do so before school starts. Dates you can come in are:

  • Thursday, August 13th from 1pm to 3pm
  • Monday, August 17th from 8am to 10am
  • Wednesday, August 19th from 1pm to 3pm
  • Friday, August 21st from 8am to 10am

First Day of School - Monday, August 24th, 8:05am.
