Phoenix Futbol (Soccer Club)

We are pleased to share our love of soccer with middle schoolers, as we both played soccer starting from a very young age. This is the 4th year Boltz Middle School has had a soccer club, starting from just a small group of students and teachers playing informal scrimmages afterschool, growing into having both boys and girls teams that compete against local schools.

We believe that playing soccer is much more than winning games. It is about forming friendships with teammates, learning to have good sportsmanship, becoming a better athlete, challenging yourself to continuously improve, and getting a good workout. The most important thing is being part of a team.

Boltz soccer is a no cut sport that welcomes players of all experience and skill levels. However, we are a competitive team. All players will play in each game, but playing time will not be equal. Playing time (and starting) is determined by a combination of positive attitude, on-field effort, skill level and willingness to play a certain position (ex. goalkeeper, defender, etc).

If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
